Here is an event that has lived long in history. It is an unforgettable tragedy. It took place in 1212. This Crusade is better known as the Children's Crusade. It took place in France and Germany. Thousands of people in Europe had bad times. Many wanted to go to the Holy Land. A group of young boys and girls less than 12 years old started out. There were two groups. One group was from France. The other was from Germany. None reached the Holy Land. Almost no children ever returned to their homes.
